The event was opened by Louise Blundell, Headteacher at Gordano school, who welcomed visitors to the site.  Gary Lewis, Chief Executive, Lighthouse Schools Partnership thanked all the business partners for their continued collaboration and support.

Stephen Penfold, Head of Talent Development at Thatchers Cider, was the guest speaker, with the focus of the breakfast event on Apprenticeships.  Stephen's presentation provided an engaging perspective on how Thatchers identifies and nurtures talent, ensuring the sustainability of the business for future generations.  
In addition, two alumni who successfully completed their apprenticeships with GKN Aerospace and Ernst Young, shared their experiences and diverse career paths.   

An amazing buffet breakfast was provided by Aspens Catering.
